This 41 caliber Remington was taken from the glove compartment of the car of Harvey Bailey on the day he was arrested by ballistics expert Merle Gill who was searching the car for evidence . Bailey was arrested in Kansas City by G men and the chief of police Higgins . Bailey later escaped and was later recaptured by Government men and sentenced to life in Alcatraz for kidnapping . |
