Johnny Holm worked on the Ranch until the war started , he then entered the world war one and served with honors , after the war he returned to Oklahoma and worked for Phillips 66 as an oil man . He used the gun while working for Phillips as a guard among other jobs . The Colt has a 7 1/2 inch barrel with nickel finish , 1 piece walnut grips , 44-40 caliber , bridge port stud .
